Topology Optimization and 3D Printing of Structural Elements with Locally Controlled Compositions

Developing the integration of 3D printing and topology optimization can increase productivity and reduce waste in the construction industry. This research aims to integrate 3D printing technologies with topology optimization (and the other way around) for cases in which the composition is locally controlled.
