Shear failure in Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete

Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) is a lightweight concrete building material. The shear failure mechanism is a complex phenomenon which is not yet fully understood. This research project aims at better understanding the failure mechanism, by analyzing existing test data and performing experimental research.
