Shear capacity at vertical construction joints of composite floor slabs under negative bending.

This research is focussed upon the influence of the concrete-to-concrete interface, between the edge of a precast concrete floor plate and the cast-in-situ concrete, on the vertical shear strength of a floor plate subjected to a negative bending moment. Resulting in compressive stresses at the bottom side of the element, subsequently tensile stresses at the top.
