A demountable connection between prefabricated 3DCP elements
Most 3D concrete printing is done off-site in a controlled environment. This means that the printed elements have to be transported and assembled on-site, which may lead to higher transportation costs and more labour, but it is also where the circular economy could play an important role. Because if the connection between the prefabricated elements is demountable and reusable, the whole structure can be disassembled and reused in some form without reducing the value of the elements.
Therefore, this research focuses on exploring and designing demountable connections between prefabricated 3DCP elements.
