Local optimization of CLT floors

For this project an optimization method and algorithm has been set up that can locally optimize CLT floors by looking at their geometry, applied loading and support conditions by rotating planks in the CLT floor. Using three case studies the theoretical potential of the developed optimization method is shown. Finally the feasibility of the practical application of this optimization method was researched.
