Excursion Tielemans
The Eurostaete project consists of two buildings: a 40-meter low-rise and a 100-meter tower.
The tower is characterized by two large cantilevered volumes. During the design phase, this presented a challenging puzzle, aiming to combine well-planned apartment layouts, structural clarity, and straightforward feasibility.
During the excursion, the structural design will be explained by the lead engineer, Adviesbureau Tielemans, and the challenges encountered during construction will be discussed by the contractor, Stam en de Koning. This will be followed by an extensive tour of both the low-rise and the tower, where we’ll enjoy a view of the city from the current highest floor on the 27th level.
Dinner is included for this excursion!
We will gather at 13:30 in the KOerscorner, from where we’ll depart for the Eurostaete site next to the PSV stadium on Gerard Philipslaan!
