Demo Lecture Assistant Professor in Hybrid-Metallic Structures
Dear All,
We hereby invite you to join the demo lectures of the candidates for the Assistant Professor in Hybrid-Metallic Structures on June 11, at 11.15 and 14.45 at in VRT 2.32. (with another 15-minute run-out for feedback)
Purpose of the Demo Lecture:
- The candidate will give this lecture as part of an application process for an Assistant Professor position.
- This is an opportunity to assess how the candidate conveys knowledge and interacts with students.
What is expected (of students)?
- Active participation: ask questions (space for Q and A at the end too) and give responses as you usually would in a lecture.
- Observe how the candidate teaches: pay attention to clarity, structure, and interaction.
- Consider how comprehensible and engaging the lecture is.
Confidentiality:
- This demo lecture is part of an application process, and we ask students/colleagues to exercise discretion.
- Session content and any discussions should not be shared outside the group.
Students have also been invited to join the lecture so that we have a representative and critical group to provide feedback to the BAC*.
