Shear resistance of prestressed concrete piles without transverse reinforcement

The study aims to investigate the shear resistance of prestressed concrete piles without transverse reinforcement due to the development of a new Eurocode for concrete structures (EN 1992-1-1:2023). After analysing the shear resistance under varying loading conditions, an experimental program is conducted to evaluate the physical resistance of prestressed concrete piles under lateral loading.
