This graduation project explores the potential of hybrid concrete columns and beams that combine traditional concrete casting with 3DCP structural formwork to improve sustainability.
A parameter study is conducted to investigate how geometric, structural, and manufacturing design parameters influence the embodied CO₂ emissions of hybrid concrete beams and columns. Additionally, the research evaluates the material-efficiency potential of these hybrid elements compared to conventional cast concrete elements.
