At the 20th of April a lunch lecture of Martens Prefab Beton will take place during the break. This lunch lecture is about arch solutions in practice.

An arch shaped construction has many advantages. Durability, circularity, sustainability, simplicity are some of the key issues that cover the round shaped pre-cast concrete construction. It has a proven track record of over 1000 installed constructions world wide. The interaction of the concrete shell and back fill makes a slender construction possible. From architectural point of view the finishing of the construction with bevel ends, spandrel wall and/or wing walls gives the designer the possibility to create his own signature. The presentation shows technical design starting points and finishing opportunities.
