ABT Design Challenge

Join us for this year’s ABT Design Challenge, where creativity and engineering insight come together!

This edition is all about tensegrity structures, these are lightweight, elegant systems that use tension and compression in perfect balance. Your mission: build the tallest tensegrity structure possible. Sounds simple… until you try it.

Working in teams, you’ll design and assemble a stable tower using the principles of tensegrity. Precision, collaboration, and clever design choices will make the difference between a soaring success and a spectacular collapse.

At the end of the day, the structures will be measured and judged. The team with the tallest, stable creation will be crowned the winner and awarded a great prize followed by a well-earned celebration with drinks and pizza in the lab!
