Together with Heidelberg Materials and Nebest, we are taking sustainability beyond ambition and into action. This is not just about talking circularity, it is about proving it. 
The highlight of the day? Seeing testing in action. By subjecting reused concrete elements, we demonstrate the true structural potential of existing materials. These tests are essential in large-scale application of reused concrete in infrastructure projects.
By combining industrial expertise, cutting-edge testing technology, and hands-on implementation, the partners continue to push the boundaries of circular construction. The reuse of concrete beams is more than a technical challenge, it is a decisive step toward reducing CO₂ emissions, conserving raw materials, and transforming the way we design and build.
We will travel by car to Ijmuiden for a tour through the factory and the testing site. After the lunch we will witness an actual test on a concrete beam. The day will end with an informal diner in Beverwijk, whereafter we will travel back together to Eindhoven.
