Lunch Lecture VeriCon
On the 15th of October, VeriCon will give a lunch lecture about the Smart Mobility Hub in Amsterdam, presented by Patrick Aarts.
The Smart Mobility Hub is a multifunctional parking facility with a sports park on the roof, combining parking with indoor and outdoor sports facilities, offices and supporting functions.
A special feature of the project is the flexible use of the parking spaces. The same spaces can serve different purposes throughout the day, for example for events, work, visitors to De Nieuwe Kern and kiss & ride. By combining these functions, the available space is used more efficiently and the need for large separate parking areas is reduced.
This multifunctional use also creates interesting structural challenges. During the lecture, Patrick Aarts, registered structural engineer and project manager at VeriCon, will take us through one of the structural highlights of the project and explain VeriCon’s role in the engineering process.
Lunch will be provided, so make sure to sign up and join us for an interesting lecture! 💙
